To blog or not to blog...

I finally have given in to peer pressure and created my own blog. Much to the dismay of my family - I'm sure I'll have plenty to keep you on the edge of your seat with my photography adventures and our daily lives.

Let me start off by telling you a little about myself:

My name is Amy and I'm 38 yrs old and I live in Orange Park, FL. I'm married to my best friend, Cass Maliszewski. He's the best girlfriend a wife could ever have and the only guy I've ever known that can out buy me in shoes or shop longer in a single day than I can!! (Hey, what's not to love about a guy like that, right?) We love to travel and take several big trips a year. This year we're off to St. Martin for 2 weeks in June. We're all about the sun and water.

Next there are my kiddlets - Chase, who's 19 and going tomorrow to sign a contract to be a Navy Diver! Chase has been my total inspiration for finally giving into my photography dream. He actually started his own business over a year ago and although he's no longer persuing it, he's still my hero :) You can check out his website at http://www.photographybychase.com/

Then there's Abby, she's 13 and the princess in the middle. She's the child that's happiest in her room, reading or watching some sappy chick flick. She is alot like me (lucky girl) in that she appreciates the message in songs and are drawn to those that tell a story. Abby is an AWESOME student and hopes some day to go to Harvard and to become a Prosecutor.

Lastly, there's Evan, 12. Ev is a dumptruck of energy shoved in a little boy with the most beautiful eyes and lips. He can make you crack up at the drop of a hat and is currently addicted to Scrabble. Ev also likes to read but mostly he loves being outdoors. I wish I could be as carefree and live life so simply....

OH! And not to be forgotten our are beloved pets - Copper and Spike. If they could be married, they would be thrilled, but for now they'll settle for what they sneak away with...

Welp, that's a glimpse into our crazy little life. Now that we got that outta the way.....we can get down to business!
